Just letting people know it's out there, hope it helps you. It does downshift fast when accelerating, but it shifts hard when easing up as you approach the speed limit on mine.
Last couple of days, I was in 2 weeks ago, got it last night. Definitely quicker to drop down a gear when you want to pass someone and don't have to push as much on the accelerator for it to happen
All models of Trailhawks it would seem . I still haven't gotten any update period. But this damn lagging to shift while merging, or even turning onto another street, lags so bad I feel like my my Jeep is just gonna get rear ended
I was intoday for my passive entry light for the second time and they are going to replace the module. Also asked about updates and I have 2. One is ECM(Engine Control Module) and the other is TCM(Transmission Control Module). They did the ECM today and they are doing the TCM and replace the Passive entry module on Monday. I wish they would of done the TCM today to see how it drives with the Transmission updates.
I just got my TH last Sunday with a build date of March 2016 so I'm assuming I need the hill climb and shifting today. I know for sure I could use the shifting update my stuff is super slow to shift on hills or just in general. I called the dealership already about the Beats update and it's available I just need to schedule it. How long do you think it'd take to do the 3 updates? I need to call and hopefully knock all these out at once.
My 9 speed is smooth. Except at certain times. During break-in it def was a little rough, but not after 2000-2500 miles.
Mine was smoother before the update, but like the lack of response I have after a short stop to fill up, get a drink, it gets worse. It's 2 different cars, the one before I stop and the one after. I had no throttle response on a 10% grademail after a stop. Guess I'm not supposed to turn it off unless I'm going to be there a while...
