What is the reason that some Renegades have different left panels on the rear storage area? Some seem to have little removable flashlights and full grilles and some seem to have little cargo nets and a small access panel? My '15 Trailhawk has the cargo net and a small access panel (like the Yellow one). Here are the best pictures I could find demonstrating the differences:
I initially thought it might have to do with the 9 speaker sound system, but I've seen both panels in cars with the 9 speaker. Both in '15 and '16 models, and both in Trailhawk and non-trailhawk models. Very confused as to which feature changes the panel.
I don't know, but I'm still bummed about not getting the flashlight... the tonneau cover... or the matching wheel for the spare tire (mine is just a generic steel wheel, but at least it's full-sized)... It seems that sometime after the vehicle's debut and the initial press, bean-counters got involved.
My '15 TrailHawk is different from either of those. It has the same panel on the right and left, so like the blue on pictured but it doesn't have the flashlight. Honestly I would prefer the cargo net, at least that is a little more usable space in an already cramped cargo area.
Maybe some of these panels fit the Fiat t00? Just wondering why they would have so many different panels...
My 2016 TH has net on left side with speaker grate on right side like the yellow renny on first page. Must be the 9 beats speaker system.
Anyone found an answer to this? It's been driving me crazy. I've researched different trim levels, options packages, everything and can not find an answer. I have the one with two nets and bought a rubber cargo mat today and it doesn't fit right. Shit is driving me up a wall. I also wanted to add a sub to the side panel but can't with how mine is set up, with two nets. Seriously I wish I got the one with the two flat sides and can't figure out anything. The 4 and 6 speaker setups still have the flat panels. I've got a '16 latitude if that makes a difference.
I've got a 2016 TH with a net on the left, Beats speaker on the right, no flashlight. I too noticed differences, but not sure of the reasoning. But, I'd like to add I'm jealous of the cup holders I see in the pics. I so wish I had that option! I wish that was standard, because without, there are no actual cup holders in the back seat. The door pockets rock for water bottles, agreed. Actually, it's a cool design, but if the kids are in the back, and you stop for food, you can't put a cup in them. I'm looking for those window hanger cup holders like I had in the 70's. Sent from my SM-G935V using ToasterJeep mobile app

My wifes 16 TH has the center armrest cupholder. Net on left. No flashlight. And beats sub on the right. Steel spare also
I have a '16 latitude with the 6 speaker and I have the two small nets. It doesn't seem like there is any rhyme or reason as to which renegades get which setup
I ve searched it when I bought my 16 trailhawk. The 15 model had the full size spare, now they don't offer it, you must buy in separate. The right side is with net or with a subwoofer depending on the 9 speaker choice. The 15 model had a flashlight, that sets himself on fire and have really poor light so they change it to a simple net and abandoned the flashlight... Oh well it's just a simple flashlight... I just put one in the glove compartment... Sent from my ZTE A2017 using ToasterJeep mobile app
