I’ve been hearing rumor that Avid is out of business. Is this true? I have the avid 2” lift. The sway bar links and tie rods are custom with the kit. What do I do if they break or the bushings go bad?

I have the same lift. And, we’ll I think we both better invest in another lift. I’ve been having the worst time with all the sway bar end links. My Renegade sounds like a piece of junk. Can’t seam to find any worthy replacements.

It's because of the design of the Renegade... If you look at the link end on the strut, it rotates beyond the link's limit when you turn the wheel hard left or hard right, This wears the ends of the links out PDQ...

Thank you Zuke. You're wisdom is appreciated.

If anyone has had any good luck with any other Sway bar end links please give your pros and cons! I know its a big problem for all of us.

are the sway bar links bad on stock suspension or is that something that will need to be replaced eventually as well?

They are a normal wear item, On a stock suspension, they should easily last 60k or more, But as soon as you lift a Renegade, the design puts the much greater strain on the ball/socket of the links, drastically reducing their life...
