I’m thinking about upgrading the whole exhaust system in my 2017 2.4l sport from header back. I see two parts from Magnaflow, the 19119 for sport/limited and 19324 for the trail hawk. I want the single tip but it says it will only fit the trail hawk. Can anyone tell me why this is?? What’s the difference in the exhaust between the two? I have a 1.5 inch teraflex lift and an avid radius rear bumper with the tire carrier if that helps any.
It could be that the Trailhawk is almost 1" taller out of the factory, also the Trailhawk has skid plates that the other models do not have. I do not know if these differences are the reason why that model only fits the Trailhawk but it may be part of the answer. A call to Magnaflow might be the best route to take. Good luck and keep us posted.
The Trailhawk one includes a resonator/center pipe, while the non Trailhawk one does not. In the mopar catalog, the center pipe and muffler/tailpipe are the same across all models. So I'd bet the Trail hawk one will fit Non Trailhawk models, but you might have to keep the sport's center pipe. I haven't actually done this though, so I could be totally wrong
The 19119 has two exhaust tips (on the same side) and uses the stock resonator; the 19324 has one exhaust tip and comes with a hi-flow resonator for a deeper exhaust note. The 19324 is about $40.00 cheaper and comes with a more complete system. I used the 19324 on my Trailhawk and was very pleased.
No, not really. I did notice a mush better exhaust note. I also added a turbocharger and wanted the improved (less restrictive) exhaust flow.
