This is a question for anyone who has swapped out their stock headlights for 7" with halos. Install went fine and everything works good expect for one thing. The halos are the RGB type. They are amber when on. If I have the headlights on, the halo flickers. Headlights off and just marker lights, four ways, turn signals or whatever else, they are solid amber like they should be. I was sent an anti-flicker canbus to use and they are installed but I think that's just to keep the headlight leds from flickering and has nothing to do with the halos. Is that right? So if that's correct, any idea on what to do to have the halo stop flickering when the headlights are on?

Update: Looking a it more, the only time the halo is solid (no flicker) is if you have the marker lights on and you have either the turn signal or four ways on, so when you have the brighter light blinking, that's when the ring is solid, then it flickers when it's not being used. I have them wired into the front DRL's so the halos are on all the time.

Posted a video of the two although the camera makes it do it's own flickering but I can see the difference. First is normal, second is flickering.

I'm thinking since they are actual leds and not a solid tube that I need a canbus for the halo also but I don't know if they make one that will work. They have the small round plug that has a sleeve that you screw over the other end and the other end is just bare wire that you tap into wherever you're hooking them up to.

These are the lights. There's a diagram on there that shows how they hook up and you'll see the plug I'm talking about. It doesn't go through a canbus adapter, just straight to the wire. Thinking that's the problem but not sure how to fix that.

    Nice update.

I haven't swapped out my lights but...

Looking at the videos that you provided.

By the way that the Halos have a rhythmic pattern. It almost appears that the Halo settings can be adjusted through the Bluetooth app from your smart phone.

UPDATE!!! The pattern is adjustable through the phone app.

It is adjustable but only when it's parked as far as I can tell. If you're driving, it's solid amber only. I got them so I could color match my renegade but once installed, unfortunately found out that they only change color or change patterns when parked.
