Headlight Experts is a great place to go to get an exact match on LED bulb conversion. Go to headlightexperts.com and just enter the year, make, and model of your vehicle and it pulls up everything that is compatible. I got headlight and fog light conversion LED bulbs. They were the exact fit. Unclamped the halogen bulb took it out and the new LED fit perfectly into place and easily hooked back up. I had read in another thread that there had to be drilling and some other kind of modifications done to put in LED replacement bulbs but these really took just minutes to install. In all less than 1/2 hour of install time. The results are fantastic. I'll have to post a pic of what it looks like. For some reason thought it takes awhile for them to warm up before the dual beam option is available, about the amount of time it takes for the vehicle to get up to temperature. It is in no way a big deal. I purchased the bulbs with the warning canceller capacitors. Don't know if a warning light would come on if I didn't have them but I really didn't want to find out. 20190202_165012.jpg 20190202_165048.jpg 20190202_165055.jpg 20190202_165428.jpg 20190202_170111.jpg

The headlight looks good. Do the led's shut off right away or does it take a little while? Any pictures of the fogs?

Shut off right away. I'll take pic of everything and post it. It really is night and day difference between the 2. The illumination is amazing in contrast to the halogens.

that warm up time you mention is a very good indication that you have a poorly built set of light. cheap capacitors, rectifer and too large of a resistor were used.
LEDs are instant on, both low and high beam.Do they atleast have the led chips facing 3 & 9 o'clock, not at 6 or 12?

Also, no cutting or drilling is required to install leds, it's a straight swap, h13 or h4 bulb, depending on where you live

Yeah its 3 and 9. I didnt know that about how the light was built and the relationship to the parts used. Still looks good, never use brights right away anyways. And I was referring to another post I read that someone had to do mods for LED bulbs.

Ordered these.....gave to kid for x-mas ...finally attempting install......H E says to orientate the high side down....low side up.......They don't have different lengths like their video and they don't work that way....both sides are and operate the same. Only one unit reacts to switching to high..

Somewhere on a forum I say that theses were the best trouble-free ones to get......not so much!

Ok.....turned Jeep on-off about ten times and let idle for 20 minutes ....finally started to work properly. ....but.....one still does not switch for a while after it's started. Hopefully it learns to behave!
