Why wont the AVID radius front bumper 2.4 mount up to my 1.4l? I want to change the entire bumper out and they have been out of stock for the 1.4l for 5mo. Any thoughts as to why it wont work? I thought they would have the same mounting points.
Welcome to the forum. If I remember correctly the 1.4L intercooler location (which the 2.4L does not have) is the main reason the 2.4L bumper won't fit. Perhaps some other forum members can give you a more difinitive answer.
NO, it won't fit if you require an innercooler. The winch tray is also the bumper mount, and there isn't any room for the winch and the innercooler. ... and if the 2.4 were to have a turbo... the innercooler won't fit. lol
The radius 2.4 bumper has been out of stock as well. I hav the expedition rear bumper and have been watching website since August for it to come back in.
