My fog lights are out. 1st place I want to check is the fuses. I cannot find anything in the owner's manual or the DVD-rom that points to anywhere. Google is no help either. I really dont want to check every fuse either. Anybody know where it's located at?

This might seem silly comment but it isn't meant to be.
The fog light only work in low beam and parking lights setting.
they don't work with the high beams on.
The lighting system is split up into left side and right side. so there isn't 1 fuse that just works the 'Fog' lights.
Probably because the fog lights come on when turning; when the fog lights are off, or when the high beam are on.
left turn the left fog light comes on, right turn the right fog light comes on. split system would be required for this to work.

The fuse for the fog (all) light are in the rear of the vehicle, left panel.
In fuse panel 2, fuse panel 1 is the one to the rear of the vehicle.
Fuse F5 is for the Controller Exterior Lighting Lights (Drivers Side).
Fuse F6 is for the Controller Exterior Lighting Lights (Passenger Side).

For the 2016 Jeep Renegade Owners Manual, page 470 for exterior lighting.

    From the Owners Manual:

The front fog light switch is built into the headlight switch. To activate the front fog lights, turn on the parking lights or the low beam headlights and push the fog light button on the headlight switch. To turn off the front fog lights, push the fog light button on the headlight switch a second time or turn off the headlight switch. An indicator light in the instrument cluster illuminates when the fog lights are turned on. NOTE: The fog lights will operate with the low beam headlights or parking lights on. Selecting the high beam headlights will turn off the fog lights.

Thanks for the info. I get it. So if the fuse was blown my exterior lights for the right or left side wouldn't work. I failed to mention I have after market LEDs for my fog lights. I was reading on a JK blog that there has been some problems with after market LEDs. They may be using more power than the computer is used to so after awhile the computer cuts power to them. I'm gonna reset the computer to see if that works and reinstall factory bulbs. All the wiring looks fine. I dont suspect a bad switch.

Hard wire the fog lights to the battery (there are provisions for that) using a relay. The signal wire for the relay that is used to turn on the fog lights uses almost no draw.
So, power wire from battery to relay, power out from the relay to fog lights. A small wire from a power source to a switch, from the switch to the signal input on the relay. You would have good solid power for your fog light without the draw from the computer (controller/module).

Electrical things are not my forte but can work my way through things if need be. Could I use existing wire harness, would I have to splice, or would I have to start from scratch and get all new wiring?

If you were to using the existing harness, and it works but is overloading, it could be used as the signal wire for the relay without any problem. But, you would have to run hard wires to the battery.

Figured it out. It's the connector for the after market LEDs I put in. After about 8 months the connection doesn't stay tight. Gonna try to tape it in place for now. Got them from Headlightexperts.com. Gonna see what they say about it.
