Hello all. I’ve noticed that I have an I intermittent sound whenever I have to brake. I noticed it the first time when I was cut off on the highway, I hit the brakes and the jeep took a nose dive and I heard a grinding sound. It wasn’t a sound from say the ABS brakes pulsating it was more like something was rubbing on the front end. I was really shocked at how much of the front of the car pitched forward. I thought maybe The suspension the front end suspension had broken and maybe the tires were rubbing the plastic inside the fender well. I only have 2200 miles on the car. Has anyone else experienced this sound or have had this issue of your renegade taking a nosedive when emergency braking or stopping suddenly??
Perhaps something like this happened to you and you scraped the Renegade's "nose" on the ground. Seriously. http://www.carscoops.com/2016/10/jeep-renegade-does-stoppie-on-braking.html
Wow. That shocked me. I’m surprised it was caught during development or by the NHTSA. I hope to get to the bottom of it and I also hope this isn’t the start of...problems. (RIP Fiat Abarth)
