I had the same issue, and was almost hit in traffic multiple times. I almost traded it in for a loss... but I think I got past it. Read through the following thread for symptoms and possible fixes. https://toasterjeep.com/index.php?threads/1569/ Sent from my SM-G935V using ToasterJeep mobile app
No thanks last time went to dealer he made me look like I'm paranoid, there was an issue with my rotors and they make the steering shake when braking on higher speed, the repr took it to test drive and laughing at my face saying it's nothing wrong with it, and also wasting my time coming there, brakes are out of warranty after 12kmiles anyways, took on myself and check the rotors and sure enough the there is a track inside of it ,like in the back of it by the edge of the rotor. If the acceleration issue comes up again can't prove to dealer the issue anyways unless it 'll happen on the test drive..again this is not every day goin on..so idk, I'm pretty disappointed with it, hope I can fix it myself in the future or take it to a real mechanic not some idiot that only can do the oil changes Sent from my SM-G955U using ToasterJeep mobile app
I have been having the same issue in 2016 Lattitude with automatic and 2.4. It happened in traffic a few times (almost got rear ended on a blind corner) and when trying to cross oncoming traffic. We have it in for service right now, and I am getting tired of being told they cannot duplicate the issue.
