Kinda hard to see, but my brother gave me his Yakima rack. He had it on his old Impreza. Fits nicely on the two inner mounts. Came with a bike mount, but I tend to not haul bicycles in the winter. so it is not on there. Now I gotta finagle together a cargo basket for the wee beastie.

 

Installed new LED headlight & fog bulbs today. I tried to replace the DRLs but kept getting bulb out error(apparently not CANBUS). I will return those and purchase LED DRLs that are error free CANBUS and install later.

Installed smoked sidemarkers & replaced the bulb with an led so it's not so yellow. Also got a bath, despite the freezing weather!

 

Dropping mine at the dealer today for the lift install! Should have it back in a couple of days..

They are almost as excited as I am to get this done. They have done a bunch of Daystar lifts on Rams and such, but this is their first Renegade. I'm lucky to have a great, enthusiastic Jeep dealer to do business with.

 

Hey, your rig looks cool, where did you buy your side marker? I am planning to install a hood scoop this summer and paint my hood with matte black, with a matching side marker like yours, that would be awesome !

I looked everywhere for about 2 months constantly searching online, even tried ordering tint film and covering my stock covers with no luck. Then I was on like page 100 on eBay searching through jeep accessories and spotted these, they come with some weird led light converter, because I think it was made for Jeeps with just reflectors and no bulb already installed but I just used the covers and they fit perfectly, was even able to screw my existing bulb into the housing. https://www.ebay.com/itm/232181302424

I got them on eBay. They come with a weird LED conversion kit, but I didn't use that part, just the smoked covers and the current lighting system plugged right into it, it was identical to the stock ones. https://www.ebay.com/itm/232181302424

 

You'll be surprised my +2 MPG is not from K&N filter, actually I experimented with the tires, still same size but diff. brand, combined with adding aftermarket insulated CAI tube (it's a TJ wrangler) I also drop a seafoam in the tank and the vacuum line (throttle). I used a Fram filter contrary to the belief that K&N is good.

 

Alright, so I put my new rack on yesterday; a 100$ rack from a store up here. Tonight I'm purchasing the Renegade Ready hitch kit

Installed some Opt7 Flux Beam X headlights into the Jeeplette. Had to shave down the little locking
tabs to get the LEDs to like up like: olo (opt 7 changed the design, no more set screw) , but they are in. Not the most even looking beam pattern (got a weird bulge just to the right of the centerline) but nothing is yellow anymore!

Edit: Fixed the bulge, lights weren't lined up correctly!

where did you get the bulbs? i looked "Opt7 Flux Beam X" on amazon but no luck.
