I just got a 2016 Renegade with cold weather package this summer. The heated seats barely work, taking an hour to warm to the point you can even feel that they are on. I live in Michigan by LKe superior, and it's around 10 degrees out today. My dealer has been unhelpful and jeep customer care doesn't seem to be capable of helping either...anyone have any ideas on fixing this myself or, well, any ideas at all?
I wouldn't know what to check first, maybe a fuse or the wiring to the seat, but I can tell you that mine are feeling hot within a few mins, so definitely not working right
If I remote start, my seat turns on but doesn't heat. I have to turn it off then on and all works well. If I use uconnect to remote start the seat turns on and heats. If I just start it everything works. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using ToasterJeep mobile app
I must have gotten lucky, mine work like a charm so far. I did have one time where the steering wheel didn't seem to heat but it was an isolated incident.
Same here 2016 trail hawk buns warmer working like a champ. Only had her less than 6 months Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
Nice, mine is a year-end '15 model purchased in February of this year. No issues to date really, still happy with it.
my seats and steering wheel heaters turn on automatically when its colder than 40 outside and i use remote start. very nice.
