    Its a neat solution, but two things concern me. They mention a drilling template on the website, which implies you have to drill holes in the tailgate to mount it and second, the small firestik like aerial looks like it will bash into the spoiler at the top of the tailgate.
    Final thing that looks a bit odd, is that there doesnt seem to be any coax connected to the SO-239 connector at the base, so maybee its all for show. And where to route the coax in...?

    Unfortunately a lot of aftermarket modifications that require a cable of some kind seem to leave it to the vehicle owner to determine the cable pathway. A lot of the lighbars for the roof racks have been that way.

    It's also possible that the intention is to install the transceiver and temporarily run the cable when one intends to go on offroading trips, but that does mean it's for-show the rest of the time.
