I installed my daughter's Christmas present today. These are the 4" version of the new Rigid Industries 360 series. They are spots with amber backlighting and they are simply outstanding! They are mounted to a very simple $20 mount from Amazon that fits to the front license plate bracket. This bracket, btw, still has holes that allow for mounting a front plate for states that require it. Anyway, they are super bright and will illuminate a trail at night exceptionally well. On the road, the backlighting looks really nice, too! The comparison shots below don't do justice to the difference. The camera compensated for the stock lights, making them appear brighter than they are, while it then compensated for the 360's by dimming them down a bit so they wouldn't wash out the image. In reality, the difference is more dramatic. You can see, though, how much better the road is illuminated in the far distance.
It is below the headlight control quadrant, as high as I could fit the wires. It is an easy reach and no risk of a knee hitting it. I do have to contact Rigid for a new switch. This one works for the lights, but the light inside the switch flickers when moved from one position to another, but it won't stay on in the on position.
