They don't have any for the renegade so what else is new . What vehicle would be closest in size to modify and fit
I have a 1.5 lift level kit from Terra flex plus pro comp 16 in zero offset wheels with a one once spacer so once I cut for the turning radius I will be able to run 29 inch wide tires
Jeep Renegade Fender Flares by MADNESS Costly but available. And for $500.00 more, you can get them in carbon Fiber.
I went out and tried 29 they hit in the turn these are 9 inch wide tires. Plus I like the look of the bolt on cut away fenders
News to me Ed. I've got 29's on my Sport with no lift or trimming. Mickey, tires on my toaster are 235/70/16. I think if you just wanna get the rubber on, easiest way is to ditch the wheels you're trying to run and go back to stock. 235/70/r16 fit fine with bone stock wheels/suspension/no trimming (interwebs tells me that's 29x9.3). Or if ya just really dig those wheels, grab the madness flares and giver hell. I'd love to see some pictures other than the ones on the madness product page.
The spacers and zero offset wheels are why they rub... most 29" tires will fit and not rub with the stock 40mm-ish offset wheels and no spacer. With the setup you have, the arc of the wheels is probably going to swing way back into the pinch seam with even a 28.5" tire...
Back in the day, my 225/65R17 BFG KO2 were 28.5 and would rub occasionally. I was once told, with a 4.0 inch lift, Pinch weld modification and 1 inch spacer you could run 30 inch tires. With all of that done, I am now running 245/65R17 BFG KO2 which are a 29.5 inch tire and I can get it to touch at about 3/4 turn and hitting a bump (curb, pot hole, speed bump, etc.). … without the 1 inch spacers, I don't clear the spring perch.
