I installed the avid 2.5 inch lift, minus the subframe drop. I just ordered new tires and they should be delivered to TD in the next few days. They measured and said a 235/60r17 should fit. They are a little less than 28.5 inches. After looking at my current stock tires, I noticed the strut is only about a half inch from the tires. Is this going to be an issue? Will I need wheel spacers?

What was make/model tire you ordered? There aren't many that come in 235/60r17 But there are some, like the Cooper Discoverer A/T3, but there are a fair number of choices at 235/65r17.

If you really ordered 235/60r17s, they should fit without a spacer, and be rub free. If 235/65r17, it will be really close, and you'll probably need spacers, and then it may well rub the back of the front fenderwell.

They actually were the Cooper Discovery AT3. That’s good news. I was concerned that I’d be stuck with tires I couldn’t use....without more modifications.

    You should be fine.
With the new setup, you are .4 inches closer to the suspension.
I agree with @zuke, you shouldn't have any issues.
