Still on my "to do" list. I got a high flow cat pipe in there, but the rest is stock.

I’m looking to do the exact same with mine- love the look of the hidden winch, similar to the mopar comanche. might I ask you for some advice on that?
& do you or anyone think there’s a warn that will fit in the slim area in front of the radiator on stock bumper?

I think there is enough space for a larger winch behind the bumper cover. The turbo engine has a little different configuration given the inter-cooler, so I'm not sure if the same is true on the 2.4 engine. The stock impact bar is boxed in and more tall and narrow. It would take some serious modification to mount a winch to it. It is also aluminum so it may rip off under too much load.

I just got a set of StopTech slotted rotors from Modern Performance. Hopefully I can do a full write up when I install them.

think the trailhawk has a steel bumper, no? doesn’t matter- I happened to get my hands on a contour support bracket from AVID coming soon and the modifications will happen shortly. have my eyes on either warn VRX 45-S (4500lb synthetic) or VR8-S.
If the space allows, I think the larger of the two would be preferred however like you 4500lbs should be more than sufficient- plus it’s 200$ cheaper

I am using the VR8-S, bolted right up without any issue.
4500 lbs wont be enough without block and tackle if you get stuck... just sayin.

**If you need block and tackle, you will need twice as much rope/cable.
    ... something to think about.

***If you are stuck in mud up to the hub, your 3800 pound renegade weighs 5700 pounds (mire factor 1).

exactly what I was thinking! rather be using half of rated vs 99%. problem is whether or not the VR8 will fit with stock bumper.. fingers crossed!

For the contour support bracket... I had to remove every bracket that would have attached to the rest of the contour bumper. You may also need to trim a little off your factory bumper cover on each side for the recovery points.

I figured that much.. is anything attached to the impact bar with the factory bumper? my guess is no.

can you elaborate on this? besides opening the middle of the bumper up for the recovery line, I can’t fathom anything else that would need to open up with the exception of access to the clutch.

The factory impact bar does not attach to the factory bumper. Here is a picture of the recovery point that I had to trim for:
upload_2019-10-18_18-28-45.png it is part of the support bracket. Here is how is looks under my factory bumper cover:
    upload_2019-10-18_18-29-35.png
For the clutch access, there are circles cut out of the bottom of the bracket (I assume for weight savings) so I am able to reach up from underneath. I simply removed the lower grill insert before re-installing the bumper cover.

Thank you for pointing me here. Looks like what I would want for the here and now, without changing bumpers completely. My question is: how did you buy only the bracket without a bumper?

based on his information here I wrote an email to avid and allowed Anthony time to respond to me- they sold the bumper support bracket alone and it ran 175 + 60 to ship. I had a delay in it reaching me because he mentioned they didn’t have a box to ship it in ;)
I’m sure I’ll be posting more on here as I try and replicate Persquank!

the contour support bracket just arrived yesterday and was only 38 lbs. I’m now understanding what you meant above.. I misinterpreted it for the opposite case. I wonder how much load this bar can handle. suppose a smaller winch is the way to go, due to this fact. it’s definitely not worth ripping my bumper off during recovery

Got my new brakes installed. The pads still had some life left but the rotors were getting pretty rusty. This is after 80k on a 2016.

I also made a youtube video!
