New here to the forum, and new to the renegade too. Mine is a 2018 with the 1.4L Turbo and 6 speed manual. My concern is the Jeep now has almost 7,000 miles and the shifts have become harder since new. Almost like synchronizers are failing, clutch is needing bled, or fluid is not right in the transmission. I have over 35 years experience with a manual transmission, and do not speed shift. I have not taken the Jeep back to the dealer........yet..........anyone else having issues, or know of something I may have overlooked?
    Thanks.

12K on my 18 with 1.4 L 6 sp manual and not a lick of problem with shifting or mechanical issues.

I've got over 60k now on my 16 with the 1.4 and the manual. No issues at all. I would say I shift aggressively at times. The key is not to slip the clutch too much on the launch. The 1-2 shift is also a little challenging at times. Especially at higher rpm's. It also seems super important to allow the clutch to fully engage before building boost and/or going full throttle.

@Viking do mind taking a picture of the padels, in a point of view that shows the padel height at rest, my clutch is much higher than the brake, reason been when I was replacing the padel from stock rubber to the aluminum one, I pulled the clutch and heard a pop sound, and I am pretty sure some thing got snapped into place, and since then the 2nd to 3rd improved, more like back to how it should be, however I just don't recall if the clutch padel was always thisthis high, I got down there touched everything I could get my hands on and can't find anything out of place. Disclosure, I just bought the jeep and was driving my wife's car also manual and simply have not gotten used of the new jeep yet, that why I am not sure if the clutch padel was always this high or if it was not installed correctly from the factory .

Sorry, but I have traded mine on a Trailhawk. Your pedals LOOK higher than they should be, mine looked NORMAL, but the release point was higher than it should have been.
