Does anybody know if you can just install say something like ATP springs without the spacer lift ect, just to gain 2". Will everything still align properly, or you need all the drop in angles ect.?

Given I'd rather just add some springs then start adding spacers ect.

The ATP springs are recommended only as an add on to their 2" lift, the 1" eibach springs can be used alone and you should have no problem having an alignment shop get it back to factory specs.

don't believe the Eibach website with their listing saying a measly 1" lift they easily added at least 2 inches to my height. The only difference between the ATP and Eibach springs are the color, ATP is red and Eibach is gunmetal. I actually wish I had waited another week before ordering mine so I could have gotten the ATP springs instead simply because of the color
gselsidi, you should be fine with just the ATP springs, you only really need the drop angles if you do the spacers. Since you just want to do the springs you're main concern would be getting the alignment afterward.

+1 on the ATP red looking BA! Im sure Eibach under estimates lift so they dont get sued by someone complaining if they get less than 2"

I bet thats exactly the case, because between the 2" ATP spacers and the "1" inch Eibach springs my toaster was actually lifted up almost 5 inches.

My local Firestone’s already been to two have issues bitchiness with even a 1.5” slacker lift even though they have camber bolts.

I think they are just lazy or untrained keep giving me the we can try but the machine is set to your vehicles specs blah blah so it won’t be perfect.

ya, definitely going to hear that a lot, you might have to look around a bit before finding someone that will do it. I tried 10 different shops before someone finally said yes. Ironically enough it was the Jeep dealer I bought my toaster at that said they'd do it lol

I want to add the ATP or Eibach springs to our Teraflex lift haven't seen anybody do this yet I wonder how well it would work. According to ATP you can only use their springs with their 2.0 lift can't imagine why it wouldn't work with a daystar or terflex lift.

thats a marketing thing, they want to sell you both instead of just one, thats all. I have the ATP 2" spacers and the Eibach springs on mine and besides the outside of my tires wearing about 5% more then the inside I have had zero issues with having both of them installed. I have put around 10,000 miles on my toaster since the install and done dozens of moderate to hard trails and I'm quite happy with everything.

Yeah I kind of figured that was the case the Teraflex lift we added just isn't enough lift the current plan is to add eibachs to the Teraflex and go up to a 225/75/16 from our 225/70/16's. I read the Eibachs don't lift the Trailhawks much at all but that doesn't seem to be the case. Where did you order your Eibachs from? I know there are several different part numbers for them out there.

I ordered mine from CarID.com and to be honest, dont pay any attention to the different part numbers, according to Eibach there are two different sets, one for 4x4 setups and one that isnt, the box that my springs came in had BOTH part numbers on it but if it gives you a choice pick the 1.7"x1.1" that one will raise the rear a little more for a nice level ride. https://www.carid.com/eibach/1-x-1-...18-01-22.html?singleid=921127505&url=88907182

and yes, pay no attention to the height listed for the springs. I got my 2" ATP lift done about a month prior to the springs and that got me a cool 2" higher. When I added the Eibach springs it raised everything up closer to 3" higher, nothing quite like more bang for your buck.

forgot something important, be careful with CarID, they took a couple weeks to ship and when they did they sent me a Chevrolet Silverado spring set instead, they even relabeled the box as Renegade springs, took me about another month to get everything straightened out and get the right springs

It would be nice to get another 2" of lift I saw on carid's site it says 1.7 up front and 1.1 rear but hopefully they lift the rear higher cause I feel ours is low in the back. I also saw on another forum they only lifted an Altitude 3/8 of an inch.

If you search Eibach's web page for trailhawk springs it will list as 1" lift front 1" lift rear part# E30-51-018-01-22, if you search any other trim renegade it will list the same part number but states 1.7" front, 1.1" rear. Your mileage may vary but I would be very surprised to see them only add 3/8", as Nathaniel's personal experience is more than advertised lift.

As for anyone having trouble getting a shop to align after a lift it is just laziness on the technician and or shops part, you may need eccentric camber bolts to get everything lined up perfectly to factory spec but you can get darn close without doing anything special above what a typical 4 wheel alignment requires, sweep for caster, adjust camber/caster/ toe as needed, no special instructions because it is a lifted vehicle. Most of the time a lazy technician wants to set toe and let it go and sees your modified vehicle as some time consuming task because god forbid the camber needs to be adjusted.

Excessive/ uneven shoulder wear may indicate a camber issue but typically points to an issue with the toe adjustment, I would get it into a shop but if you can't or don't want to, increase your rotation schedule and it should get you some extra miles out of those tires, off road rubbers ain't cheap these days ;)

there are others here that have also added springs to spacer lifts for a much higher then advertised lift, However, like mine, theirs are trailhawks, I'm not sure if anyone here with a non trailhawk model have done both spacer and spring lifts. Another member that I can think of that has done the same as me is "Thatguy178" we had been talking about how much higher the combo got us then the advertised heights https://toasterjeep.com/index.php?threads/atp-4-0-lift.2521/page-2#post-20743

it's not really all that excessive, even after 10,000 miles. I was going to have the tires flipped on the rims at my next oil change putting the thicker tread on the outside then after another 10,000 to 15,000 miles I might do that again depending on whats left at the time. As for price, these are 235/65R17 Atturo Trail Blade X/T tires, full set is about $500 so much cheaper then a LOT of other brands out there and they have proven themselves many times over in mud pits lol

I read through that post as well it seems it will raise it enough especially since ours when stock height already sit's 3/4" lower than a Trailhawk. Hopefully our tires won't look to small with more lift we are only running a 225/70/16 right now.

pretty much the only thing that makes the TrailHawk sit higher is they already have bigger springs then the non TrailHawks and our tires started out as 225/65/17, maybe a 1/2 inch taller then your tires , after you throw those aftermarket springs on you'll be just as tall as we are and you'll be in the tall toaster club lol

I will probably order the springs and wait until spring to throw them on. My wife isn't keen on the idea of buying new tires already.
