Recently got a 2016 Trailhawk and after 4 weeks the stock rollers were looking a little wimpy every time I walked toward it.

Did some research and found that the Atturo Trail Blade was a pretty decent alternative to the standard BFG KO2 everyone seems to be running.

I'm going to start with stock fitment so folks know what "might" be involved.

The wheels were purchased from Custom Offsets - Fuel Sledge 18x8 38mm 5x110 in Matte Black

Fronts will fit without cutting although only at low pressure. Air them up and you will need to notch the spring perch in order to keep them from rubbing at speed.

Someone had also mentioned a "rear pinch" trimming but never posted pictures because the had the work done for them. This mod is a must if you want to run these. The only difference being it isn't the pinch that you actually cut it's the back of a small gusset/bracket for the rockers. On the passenger side you will also need to shorten or zip tie the vent tube for the tank out of the way. Both sides will need some trimming of the plastic wheel liner.

Took me a second to remember what to change when embedding pics from DropBox.

Here's the small amount of trimming you need to do:

    And the final results:

I personally like to have some "poke" so I ordered the Rugged Ridge 1.25" spacers.

I'm trying to wait for this 4" lift to get released instead of buying the lift and springs but we'll see - I'm starting to get a little impatient with my rig being stock aside from wheels and being stripped of its badges.

Too early to tell. I didn’t get the spacers until Saturday which was another project so today was the first day driving further than my street. Slight rub in the front at lock from spacers but I didn’t shave the pinch behind the front wheels yet.

The tire humming is noticeable and audible at highway speeds even with the volume on the factory stereo in the 20s. Not an issue for me but certainly for others.
Stability and overall feel is great no issues in the inch or so of slush/ice here this morning in New Hampshire.

I’ll report my mpg after this next tank, I want to do my plugs first after seeing other with much better mpgs than I was getting with undersized highway tires.

Sorry for the wait. Believe it or not I only just finished running 2 tanks of fuel through it.

Around town the gas mileage is horrible. 16-17 MPG

Highway I am clocking in 21.7 MPG

I noticed another user mentioning spark plugs, so I am going to replace all the plugs and air filter this weekend and run another couple tanks through it.

So... I'm not sure if I just won the jeep mileage lottery or what but I have 1350 miles on my 18 Latitude 4x4, and my lifetime average is 28.5mpg.

Ouch... I'm seeing 28ish stock. Might wait until I really need the tires for hunting season if it take this big of a toll. Still looks awesome though!

I changed the plugs and air filter then ran a couple tanks through.

I'm now seeing about 22MPG around town - still need to take it on a nice day trip to clock some highway miles.

Would any trimming be necessary for this size if it had a 2" lift?

Pinch seams would 100% still need to be removed even with 2" of lift. That being said - trim them, hit them with some sealer and undercoat and it will last and nobody will bark at you going to the dealer.

I know I'm taking a chance reviving an old thread but I'm really curious on the mileage after some break in with this setup tire size and spacers
