Hey guys. After some time with the stock Trailhawk (eu model) tire size I installed 16inch oem rims with 205/80/16 ling long crosswind m/t tire. Despite being a Chinese cheap brand I am very happy with the results so far. The tire has been tested in wet and dry pavement, rocks and severe mud.

I am astonished so far as I have been able to climb obstacles that's others failed despite having serious off road vehicles.

I believe the renegade is pretty capable with the right set of tires. The limiting factor though is the ride height and the way the electronic systems work in "wet" situations.

Lastly I can confirm that with this size I have no rubbing thought the whole suspension travel even at full lock.

Thanks mate. The tires seem to be doing well. The only downside is the noise after 80-90 km/h but you expect that from a mud terrain.

Hmmm like an excessive noise or normal amout for a mud terrain. I hace just normal all season ones rn in the process of getting different rims and tires.

Normal for a mud tire but excessive for a regular tire. :p I can live with the noise and the increased fuel consumption but I wouldn't suggest them for someone who uses the car mostly on the road.

Thank you for the information. May we have some more pictures of your jeep? It looks too sweet to have just one picture!

A good set of tires can make a big difference. Looks very rugged with those wheels.
