So, I replaced the OEM shift knob with a MOMO Nero knob. The OEM knob was just too big for my liking (i have smallish hands!). The Nero worked well enough even though it is a bit light and plasticky for my tastes. Been looking for something heavy and that would fit. Poking around the Dodge Dart forums led me to Twisted Shifterz. They make an adapter that will let you keep the reverse lockout while adding threads to the shift lever. Unfortunately you cannot just purchase the adapter, you also need to get a knob. I opted for the Heavy Weight Stainless Steel Knob with the silver adapter because shiny: https://www.twistedshifterz.com/col...less-steel-heavy-weight-new-6-speedshift-knob This adapter opens up a lot of options because it adds m16x1.5 threads to the lever. You will need to keep the 10mm bolt that held on the OEM knob as this adapter uses it. So to start: Here is the kit: The Knob, the adapter, and a jam nut. Remove whatever knob you have: Put the adapter on and thread the bolt in the top. Take note because the top of the adapter is also threaded. I recommend using blue thread locker. The bolt will bottom out and stick up a bit, but this is not a problem. One thing I did notice is that there is a little gap between the top of the lockout collar and the bottom of the adapter: I'm guessing this is one of those little differences between this shift lever and the one in the Dart. Really it is no big deal. The lockout collar only moves up and down, and from the driver's seat, you don't see the gap. Really it did not bother me while driving around today. Next, Thread the Jam nut on: You will need a 3/4 inch spanner. DO NOT TIGHTEN THIS DOWN ALL THE WAY LIKE MORON I AM! Just thread it on with your fingers until it stops. Apply some thread locker to the adapter and thread the shift knob on until you hit the jam nut, then reverse the knob until the shift pattern is facing the right way, or leave it all cockeyed if that is what you like. Spin the jam nut until it contacts the knob. Holding the shift knob, give an 1/8 turn or so of the jam nut to lock everything together. Done! This knob is about 1.5 inches across, Weighs about a pound, and makes the shift action so much smoother. If you hold a shift knob on top like I do (i actually hold it like i am throwing a split finger fastball) then this is a good knob. If you hold it like you hold a stick (palm of hand on the right side of the knob), then this may not comfy as you will grab the knob and the shift collar. Also this adapter makes the whole assembly a smidge taller. I didn't really notice any difference though.

You bet. Yours looks great. I despise that stock knob so much, nor do I understand why they chose a silver knob with tan/gold paneling.
