Greetings to all Rennies in SoCal (and beyond if interested!).

A few of us are going on a run Saturday morning February 4 to Rowher Flats OHV, located near Santa Clarita, CA off the 14 Fwy.

It'll be a great time to meet fellow Renny owners, swap mod ideas, and make new friends.

It is wise to have a Adventure pass with you, as this is Part of the Angeles Nat Forest.

You can get a day or year pass at any Big 5. Problem is that Big 5 won't have any year passes until March. Passes are $5 for the day and $30 for the year ($5 for an additional year pass).

Those interested and can make it, chime in! Let me know if you have any questions.

Hope to see you on the trail.

I *might* be able to go! I know that Renegade folks are a welcoming bunch but I figured I should ask, how would you guys feel about a Wrangler and a Commander tagging along besides my Trailhawk? Or are we trying to keep this as a Renegade specific event?

Awesome! I'll check in with them and see if they're in. We were planning on hitting a trail this weekend if we can get the Commander trail ready (Trying to get him set up with some recovery points at least, and we'd like to do the lift kit and tires too.), so I'll let them know it's an option :-D

And we'd be coming from Long Beach

That's great to hear man. There is a very easy trail I've done there as well as one a little more dicey given that it climbs into higher elevations. We'll accommodate our run to all Jeeps that join us.

Greetings. Just want to get a head count as to who will be showing up this Saturday morning.

There is a Chevron gas station on the Sand Canyon exit off the 14 fwy. We will be meet there at 8 am.

If you are planning on coming, let us know so that we know who to expect and wait for. So far there is three of us. Looking forward to it!

I won't be able to make it after all, having some issues with my starter, going to have to take Hawkeye in to the dealership :(

Hope you guys have fun, and I hope Hawkeye is back on the dirt ASAP. And more importantly, I hope it's a warranty covered issue, haha.

Does anyone here have issues with your radio? I can't adjust the volume for at least 15 seconds every time i start my jeep. Also, my alarm takes a while to turn off.

There is a safety disclaimer that is displayed on the screen every time you turn on the radio. None of the radio controls work until the disclaimer is answered or until the disclaimer disappears on its own. About 15 seconds seems about right. I can't offer any info on the alarm.

Agreed. Why is your alarm going off to begin with? What is causing it?

I'm not counting the disclaimer on my 15 seconds. You can hit accept and now you have access to everything. My problem is that only the volume won't change.
The alarm goes off when i accidentally press the panic button since i always have the key fob in my pocket. Happens rarely. But it's a pain to shut off.
