    Good evening everyone,
I just purchased my 2016 Trailhawk last week and had a question. I emailed Daystar tech support about tire sizing. Mr. Cunningham replied that with the 1.5" lift and .5" spacer that 235/70R17 are the biggest tires recommended. Has anyone ran this size with minimal modifications? I see most members are running 225/65's or close. Thank you in advance

Similar experience and ended up going with Cooper Discoverer AT/3s, 235/65R17. In hindsight, would have gone smaller, 225s, because even with the pinch seam mod, there is still occasional rubbing when braking and the wheel turned at the right (or wrong I guess) angle. but I have 1" not .5" spacers, not sure how that might affect things.

Thank you. I ordered 1" spacers as well. Hopefully I can find a tire shop that won't mind trying a couple different sizes

I just bought a 2016 Trailhawk, which already had a lift installed, and it's running 245/70R17 Goodyear MT/Rs.

Just saw this in the other thread, how much rubbing do you have? If they don't rub, do you know how much material was taken off the seams? Those tires look great.

When I am reversing out of my driveway, I believe it is contacting the inner wheel cover.

Love it! Just wondering what lift and spacers are you using and if any trimming was involved I have a Latitude at 215/60R17
