Why is the fuel economy still TBD?!?! That is a huge selling point for me.

Not sure and it is a bit frustrating for sure. From day one, Jeep has said the Renegade would get 30+ MPG but how much more is the question. 31 MPG, 35 MPG or closer to 40? I too would like to know.

A big selling point for sure. If all the specs are final, I wonder what could be the hold up? What aspects could still impact MPG?

LOL!! I was kind of thinking the same. I'm guessing with the new 9-speed auto, they were hoping to be in the high 30's but are probably almost down in the high 20's or something.

I hate the fact that I think you are right. :(

Well, in all fairness, this might be true right now and they might be trying to change it through shift points on the new 9-speed auto. They could also be working on the tune to see what can be done to help out.

Need a clarification (the more detail the better). Exactly how does the Renegade's 4x4 system work? I thought it was a triple-differential system with the Trailhawk offering either limited slip or locking diffs.
