Temporarily removed my swaybar links. They kept coming loose and making a knocking noise. Currently have them zip tied up.

Today I did some interior cleaning . Since I had left some time, I finally found a place for the umbrella, which is always a welcome accessory when it rains and anguish in the boot rest of the time.
I used the material I found in my garage, 2 x reusable ties and 2 x 4mm screw. It could be done better (on occasion I will replace the ties with two black), but it comes out just practical.

Why do you want to remove them?

I know the back is attached to the rear bumper, and you take the plastic off and it's bolted to 85ft lbs. Fronts probably same

I want to powder coat them black. The front I thought just had 2 bolts, but when I remover them it just loosened it and there was a tube or something going back into the frame. Couldn't figure out how to remove it.

Oh, sounds like a cool idea.

Sorry I don't know what the tube would be. If you figure it out let us all know

If you can get your hands on some of these bull bar/brush guard/winch bumper instructions they may provide the info you need.

Done additional reverse light for nighttime offroading. Works when you put on reverse gear. IMG_0419.JPG

    Painted my radio bezel: https://imgur.com/gallery/LfAgs

It's just acrylic paint, I'll clean it up more later
I'll paint the 'to adventure' bit under the push button soon at some point.

What's the best way to trim the pinch seam? Have you completed it because my tires rubbing is driving me nuts

Yes. Took total 3hours both sides.
What tires do you have? How much it rubs?

I didnt trim much and cleared those 29". With smaller spacers and bigger trimming i could clear 30" no problem. I will do that after those are worn.

Today I finally installed security screws on my lightbar so it won't grow wings and fly away to the nearest pawn shop (Since I don't think thieves are smart enough to tell the difference between a $500 Rigid bar and my $70 MicTuning bar...).

As a side note, it's apparently very difficult to find security screws in 6mm x1.0 in the US unless you want a huge quantity. I had to order them on eBay from a Chinese seller.

It's a "modified" (cut down) light bar from the Liberty Renegade. Only picture for now. Not talented enough to do a write up; a $75 experiment...
