Nice. Hopefully it won't cost an arm and a leg over the other lift kits out there of the Renegade.

Is this a spacer lift similar to the Daystar?

This is what im wondering as well, because if so it isn't worth it to me. The 1.5" lift of the DayStar kit is said to already push the limits of the factory suspension, so I wouldn't go any higher on a spacer type lift.

My TrailHawk already rubs the exhaust a tad when turning left from a stop, DS kit installed.

be mindful that concept vehicles do not necessarily have the mechanical underpinnings to be viable. Sometimes they're just mockups used to test public interest in some feature or another prior to committing the company to developing it in-earnest.

The engineering team that developed the suspension for this stock chassis variant had to weigh a lot of factors into their choices, including conventional road-going handling, ingress/egress of the passengers, rear cargo load height, offroad ground clearance, fuel economy (due to higher profile and greater wind resistance), high speed emergency handling (moose test), parts costs for a small-batch variant, and difficulty to assemble on the same production line as the conventional non-Trailhawk Renegade and the 500L and 500X.

If the public that actually buys new vehicles wants it badly enough then they may develop it. If the public reaction in that particular segment is lackluster then they probably won't, as they need to be profitable in the costs of the development program through all of the steps involved, especially if they want to avoid problems down the road.

Its funny you mention this, my wife has the 4wd Limited model and after lifting my TrailHawk I notice a huge difference in the height of the hatch and cargo area. As an average height male(6') I find it much more comfortable to open my hatch than hers, which feels way too low for me.

You're giving me a complex... When did the average height go to 6'? I always heard the global average is 5'10" and actually the U.S. average is 5'9.5"

Average man, presumably American man, is around 5'9" tall. Average woman is around 5'4" tall.

Ok so maybe I should have done some research first lol. Seems like down here in the south everybody is a big 'ol country boy, so my sample size may be a little skewed.

spoke to the ATP guys on Instagram and they said it should be out with in 3 weeks or 4, So excited for the product. Its made from billet aluminum so its a lot stronger and will last longer then the daystar lift.

I also have concerns for the welds on the daystar brackets. The rear control arm brackets seem to be a bit beefier that the daystar, but we'll see.

I run the Jeep Renegade Life facebook group and Instagram page... ATP is offering a group discount of 10% using the promo code jeeprenegadelife at checkout.

I've discussed the lift set up with the guys over at ATP thoroughly and the rear differs from the Daystar lift in that it uses the stock brackets with a spacer in between vs an extended bracket. I've already preordered and am awaiting the kit to install and will be doing a write up.

I also talked with them as we're trying to do some wheels that will work in an offset without spacers.
I have one coming when they arrive.

Nice, I do have one concern though. It mentions the lift is roughly around 2" depending on the model. Does that mean the Trailhawk version won't have as much lift as a normal limited model? Or does it depend on the engine it carries?

I would guess the engine would be the factor there. A 1.4 manual 2x4 weighs quite a bit less I think
