We are headed to southern Colorado to escape the heat in AZ and enjoy the scenery. Due to rain and possible high water levels at the water crossing, we are leaving our Renegade in the garage this weekend and taking our JK on the trail.. Anyone have any cool plans/trips planned for the Labor Day weekend??
No trips planned but I am hoping to do some saltwater fishing but there is a possibility of a tropical storm so I may need to button up the beach house instead, hopefully it will stay off shore. Some of our beaches are open to driving a week after Labor Day and it is approaching the best time of year to fish. That's my main off roading with the Renegade, hopefully any storm will stay away and not mess up the beaches. Hurricane Sandy did a job on a lot of houses, boat docks and beaches, don't want to drive the beach too soon after a storm, a lot of debris with nails all over the place. A friend of mine got 3 flats in 2 days after Sandy. Enjoy your trip.
I'm still on the fence about heading to Moab. I'm in Albuquerque so if I don't go to Moab I may head towards CO.
