I just purchased a Jeep Latitude for my 16 year old daughter and she loves it. I was looking for a car that was safe, had good visibility, got great gas mileage and was cool and cute enough for her to drive. This car met all those requirements. The only extra is the 2.4L and the power and removeable sunroof. Drive decent and has enough power to get her to school and home. Only 200 miles on the car and it is getting 31 mpg in town. Paid $21k - sticker was $25.5. Time will tell how it holds up. I owned a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and loved it, but that was before Mercedes sold out to Chrysler, so time will tell if Fiat is doing well with their quality control. The Grand Cherokee was built on the MLK platform. This car shares the 500X platform. I own a 2013 Mercedes S550, but I do enjoy driving this little Jeep around town. I looked at dozens of other vehicles for her, but this one hits all my needs to help reduce the anxiety of her driving. Look forward to hearing how each of your purchases are working out and any tips or hints you have on keeping it road ready!
That is so awesome! Love the fact that you got a MySky on it too - I so wish I could have gotten that.
Thanks for the welcome. She loves it. She had her choice of a Cruise, 500X, Volster, Corolla, Encore or Golf. She liked the Jeep best. Actually wanted a Wrangler, but that not only was very impractical it was far to expensive. Thanks for setting up the forum! Great resource!
Very nice! Be sure to teach her how to take care of it. Too nany young uns just drive the wheels off them and dont keep them clean
