Hi everyone, Twice in the last two days, I've slowed or come to a stop, then tried to accelerate, but had no response from the pedal, then after two to three seconds it worked fine. One of the times I was in the middle of an intersection and couldnt move, causing a near miss with a second car coming at me. I am going to call the dealership tomorrow. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what was the cause? Thanks! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

If this ever happens to me, the dealership will have 1 chance to fix it. If it happens again after that, I'd pursue a lemon law claim.
I’m having the same issue. And the Jeep cares people are the most rude “customer service” I’ve ever had to deal with. Makes you think twice about the vehicle you bought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just got a response saying it’s too bad they can’t do anything to help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We are happy to help with any concerns related to your vehicle not performing as designed; however, this does not include modifications beyond factory specifications. Again, I apologize we cannot be of further assistance and if you or anyone else needs assistance while at their dealership please don't hesitate to send us a PM! Andrea Jeep Social Care Specialist
Lag in a gas pedal and losing acceleration aren’t what I’d call modifications. Dealer doesn’t really care and obviously Jeep doesn’t either. It’s a computer problem causing the pedal to not respond as it should. So yes, some does need to be modified there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't know if this is the same problem, but I noticed hesitation in my 2017 Wrangler throttle response. Calibrated the throttle position sensor and noticed an immediate improvement. Pretty simple to do. Cut the key to "on" (don't start it) and wait for the mil lights to go out. Then slowly press the gas pedal all the way to the floor and slowly let it back. Cut the key off. Same problem, also nobody can reset my service message and I get very low mpg. It's a cheap car I just assume it's normal there s a few bad ones Sent from my SM-G955U using ToasterJeep mobile app
For those of you who've had this issue, what year and trim/drivetrain do you have? This is a very concerning issue, and in MN the lemon law would allow the manufacturer one shot to fix this, if not they buy it back since the issue could cause harm.
I 've experienced also something similar In few ocasions but in my case I can give you more details. Mine is a 15 latitude 1.4 6speed manual. As I was driving on highway at approx 65 mph when pushing on the gas pedal had no boost or gas delivering to push any further ,I down shifted and rpm went higher but still no go ,checked the boost on the Torque app and boost is under vacuum - 10 or so, I pulled over and waited for a couple of minutes checked under the hood just in case if something blown or busted, couldn't see anything wrong. Started up again and drove as nothing was wrong with it . I Sent from my SM-G955U using ToasterJeep mobile app
The second time it happened on the street and again 0 pull as if car is running with no turbo in it..very nasty, so I 've turned it off and again a few seconds later start it up and run normal again.. I suspect that it's something wrong with the ECM or PCM ,all of this happening occasional and when it's hotter like on high 80s and more humid Sent from my SM-G955U using ToasterJeep mobile app
