Shoo I just installed the ATP 2" spacer lift on my 2016 trailhawk and I'm getting really bad bump steer. Anyone have this issue with the same lift? Did you correct it? And how?
Did you have it aligned? What were the measurements afterwards if so? My toe, camber, & caster were all out of spec after I lifted mine.
They supposedly did an alignment but I didn't get any spec sheet. I called them and am bringing it back in on Saturday. Did you get yours aligned to factory spec? Or to a different spec specifically for the lift?
I went off the factory specs. I got the toe into spec and the camber is just on the edge of green. I can't get it any closer without slotting the struts which I plan on getting around to soon. The caster up front is just going to have to be out bc I don't want to slot the upper strut mount holes. There's no other way to adjust it. It's not an issue tho once all the other stuff gets into spec. It won't wear the tires and won't pull either side as long as the numbers are even side to side. Your toe is probably out if you have bump steer issues. I know I had a hard time getting it to stay in spec as I adjusted it. It definitely wants to fight you. Especially the rear. The "alignment shop" guy originally could not find the camber adjustment bolt...... After arguing it wasn't done and showing them the bolt, ....ugh.... it's finally adjusted correctly and driving fine now.
