I've been trying to get the winch mount for my 2016 Trailhawk from Daystar. I first contacted them and they directed me towards their dealer network. At the same time, I asked for mounting instructions for the unit and the only directions they have are for the non-Trailhawk version. The sales person on the phone said he was sure in the box would be the correct information abut couldn't check for me. Then when I contacted their dealers in the area, they said the number was no good and when they finally checked with Daystar, there are none to be had! The last dealer I contacted called and said they have two. Two where? Daystar, that's where. I asked how long, they said they will contact Daystar, and Daystar doesn't seem to know when they will ship. I gave the one dealer a deposit and told him I need to know by the weekend when it will ship. I really want this unit, I have the money, but it seems Daystar doesn't need my money. I have also contacted Rocky Road Outfitters, just in case, and the can get it out as soon as I order it. Guess they want my money. What do you think I should do???

Please email me at cwagner@daystarweb.com or call me directly at 623-980-0932
I don't see any installation instructions on the Daystar or their dealer web sites, that's a bad sign to me. I might be interested in Jeep Renegade Trailhawk Winch Bumper if I knew what was involved. I see post-install video here and with winch added here Thanks Mr Winn. So Daystar, can you all produce something better?
Amazon sells the trailhawk version. Just a thought. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HG75RPC/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I3GKTLQ5XEI42E&colid=10MO3UY9DTYLV
Quick question: in Ontario we must have a front licence plate. From the video I saw that the plate was in the windshield. Are there adapters for this to allow a license plate cover or something offset to allow the plate to be permanently mounted? Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
They make holders that attach to the fairlead; when using the winch or off roasting you can pop it off and store it in the vehicle to keep it from getting damaged. Quadratec sells them to fit how you're running your winch
I do like what you have done with the grille! Looks very smart! I've ordered the black covers for the chrome but may leave one chrome and see what it looks like! Sent from my VTR-L09 using ToasterJeep mobile app
