Has anyone had success with KO2s 245/65r17, doing the daystar lift pinch seam trim and wheel spacers running stock 17 rims? If not that size then what is the largest size tire that will fit? I get that the 16" rim running the 225/75r16 is the same diameter but the 245/65-17 is almost an inch wider. And the conundrum, BFG doesn't make the 225/70R17. So again, what will work?

I'm running 225×70 R17 wanted to put on 235×70 R17 but the 225x70 R17 is a tight fit running 1.25 spacers and pinch seam. So Maybe maybe not

I expect you've attempted this w/o spacers? My guess is no they don't fit??

I'm running spacers. Spacers or offsets rims you have to run with anything higer than 235×65 R17. I'm saying 225x70 R17 fits fine but 235x70 will be perfect but think they will rub when braking hard and doing tight turns e.t.c. Remember that that size difference between tire brands. I been waiting for someone to say go for 235x70 R17.

I had ordered the 235/70R17 Cooper Discoverer A/T3, the day before the install Toaster had a roll over and is probably Toasted. I have been searching for a replacement vehicle and honestly I think I'll get another Renegade. We'll have to try this again in a few months.

I have Cooper Discoverer AT3s, 235 65R 17, with Daystar lift, pinch seam trim, and 1" spacers. Still running stock wheels. Took a lot of work on the pinch seam to eliminate any rubbing (worst seemed to be with wheel turn under braking, like when doing a u-turn). Can't imagine going bigger..
