I finally brought home my loaded 2016 TH today (happy Father's Day to myself). I have a 64gb flash drive that I loaded music onto and it works great. Inside the arm rest, loaded up about 30gb of mp3s in about 5 seconds.... BUT it organizes all of my songs alphabetically, using the mp3 tag info. Is there a way for it to organize by the actual file names (they're all labeled with numbers in order)? I've seen people who talked about retagging the files with the track number in the mp3 ID info, but I'm hoping there is a better way. Any ideas?

The only way I know of is to re-tag the song titles. Unfortunately that's going to take you quite some time to re-tag 30 gb of mp3s.

I ran into another problem here recently that I was hoping someone could help with. I DID re-tag all my songs, all 425 of them, so that the songs would play in alphabetical order. This has worked great for almost a year now in my armrest of my renegade limited. But in the last couple weeks something has changed and now it is playing the songs in alphabetical order by artist instead of song title. So I'll get 8 songs in row by the Cranberries, then 20 in a row by the Beatles and on and on... I don't know what I did to change this behavior, but it's driving me nuts trying to get it to go back. I have a mixture of artists on my thumb drive for a reason, I want a mixture, no 45 minutes of this artist, then an hour of that artist... I have uconnect 6.5 so if anyone has any help they can offer, please send it my way. I have pushed every single button, both soft and physical, and nothing seems to happen. I would be happy to just put the system on shuffle, but the shuffle order changes every time you start the engine and so over the course of a couple weeks you tend to hear some songs several times and some songs not at all. Frustrating. Any help will be nice

In itunes u can select items and retag them as groups. By all categories. I have a perfect 160 gb ipod. No features. No john butler spelled three different ways. Its taken a long time. And it takes the uconnect a long time to read such a big hd.

I found a way to do batch retagging of the artist and track mp3 info so the renegade puts things in order. You've to change the artist, album and song title info. The song titles I added track numbers in front. I forget which program I used, but it was free took me a minute to figure out but I did about 4,000 songs In about 20 mins
