So when I installed the hitch from RenegadeReady on our Trailhawk, the Mopar-branded part had the provision for the red hook to bolt to it. Does the factory-installed hitch for the non-TH model also have this provision for the red hook, even if it's covered up by the solid plastic bumper cover?
If I am understanding your question correctly. Yes. I believe that the hitch is for all variations of the 15/16 renegade. You can always call them at renegade ready. They have amazing customer support.
I can confirm. I purchased the hitch from Mopar. It had the hook. I just had to take my hook off the TH bumper and put it on the hitch bumper. So any hitch bumper will have that cutout.
