Don't see anything specific to the D-rings, but the winch bumper is meant to support a 9K winch with no problem. It feels extremely sturdy as well.
I'd still love to see someone come out with a bumper replacement rather than attachment though. With our plastic running along the side all the way to the front, I'm not sure how that would look though.
Yes! Ender, that looks amazing. I've been trying to decide if I want the winch mount. I think you may have just sold me on it. Gotta save my coins...
Ive been thinking about the same thing, I think some metal bumpers for the Renegade could look wicked. I agree with the plastic fender trim though, maybe they could come up with some "endcap" type piece to secure the edges of the fender trim where the factory bumpers attach to them. Im not hopeful, as most companies don't seem to amped to have aftermarket support for these vehicles, but I would love to have some metal bumpers. It would make me less hesitant when offroading too, knowing that a metal bumper could take a hit, whereas the plastic bumpers are a lot more easily damaged. Also it would fix the issue of approach angle, if the entire bumper was added and the wench was incorporated into it.
Does anyone have any pics of the Renegade with the bumpers removed? I have a good friend that made custom tubular bumpers for his Ram. I'm sure he and I could come up with a design, I guess it will have to pull the front on mine and take some measurements.
Only have the rear... None of the front... This is the connection into the frame - for the Trailhawk and trailer hitch bumper.
Damn ! She looks good. Still waiting on some overtime to help me decide if I want a winch or just a bull bar with a skid plate. Are you going to get the bull bar to complete the Daystar bumper?
Looks great man, what tires did you end up going with again? And 16" wheels correct? Im struggling hard with going to 16s or staying with stock wheels and KO2s.
Looks amazing! Can you post a shot down the side? I'm trying to decide which sliders I'm going with but the more I see of the Daystar sliders I think those will be my choice.
Im in the same boat, and really considering it hard. I like the look of more meat on there, and weight-wise it comes out as a wash between 16s and 17s.
