I got this Jeep 2 months ago. 2018 Latitude, used with 32000 miles. I'll try to keep this short and sweet. Since I've got the Renegade I noticed it tends to vibrate a bit when at idle. Not excessive or shaking, but enough that I feel it's abnormal. Worse than the actual vibration is the rumble noise that comes with it. Very low tone, sounds a lot like when you drive with the the back windows rolled down. I'm sensitive to noise so it actually makes me a physically nauseous after a time. Vibration and noise is tolerable if A/C is turned off, and music is playing. Vibration and noise is much worse with A/C turned on, and can be heard over the music. Vibration and noise is even worse if I'm doing several slow stop and go's (LA traffic, fast food drive thru, etc) Vibration and noise is completely gone in Neutral or Park, only present in Drive and Reverse The vehicle also does a heavy but brief vibration whenever operating electronics like the windows or MySky I took it to the dealership 2 weeks after I got it to address the issue and begin the W80 recall test. They gave it back to me and said nothing was wrong. I took it to a private shop and they said I could have bad engine/transmission mounts, but that I'd have to pay out of pocket, and they aren't 100% sure that's the problem. I've got less than 2000 miles left on the original warranty, and I'm scared that it's going to run out and I'm going to get stuck with this problem. Has anyone had symptoms similar to this? Is it just normal for this vehicle or is there really something wrong that my dealer just won't address?
That definitely sounds like Motor Mounts.... If there is another dealer within a reasonable distance, I'd try them. Either way I'd get in touch with @JeepCares and get it documented that the problem began before the warranty ran out...

Just wanted to update here and say that between @JeepCares and taking it to a new dealership, they just called to confirm they are changing all 3 motor mounts. Success!!! Here's hoping that this fixes the issue! Thanks @zuke and @JeepCares for your help!!
That's great to hear, I'm pretty confident that will get you all sorted out, but definitely let us know how it is when the work is done.
Final update : got my Jeep back just now. They did indeed change all 3 mounts and the problem seems to be completely resolved. No shaking in gear even with ac on. Also the car doesn’t violently shake when I start her up like she did before, which I just thought was normal. Seems rock solid and I couldn’t be happier!
