Do you have a lift kit on your jeep? Do you think one inch spacers would work for the tires and wheels you're running? Did you do the pinch seems?
Is not lift I don't know of One inch spacers would work I saw another guy running the same Wheels and tires with 1 Inch spacers Sent from my SM-G930V using ToasterJeep mobile app
One inch spacers rub on the rear of the front tires towards the cabin with no lift on the Trailhawk. ATPs lift might clear the pinch seam. I'm going to have to do the punch seam mod though.
A few more pics... I went with Nitto TerraGrappler G2s Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
Not sure if you were asking me or the other fella lol but mine is a lifted FWD so it sits nearly at stock TH height... I needed 1" spacers, trimmed the pinch seams, and remolded the inner fender liner... still rubs at full lock but only against the fender liner which I'm going to push back more Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
Was finally able to get it cleaned up for a better look Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
Pinch seam gone but still rubs slightly against the plastic liner which I'm going to have pulled back as far as possible... nothing major just small annoyance at the moment in low speed turn conditions Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
The more I view this post and the tire/rim setup the more I like it! Just not a big fan of the rubbing. Sent from my SHIELD Tablet using ToasterJeep mobile app
I'm getting my ATP lift installed this weekend to see how much room I'll have on my FWD for tire size Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
New ATP kit installed with the tires vs stock 2 years ago... definitely a bit higher than the daystar one I removed and very pleased with the outcome Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
For the people that got the tires+wheels installed, how much clearance do you have with the bottom of the strut? I am running 235/65/17 with ZERO rubbing on a stock TH with no spacers or lift. I am extremely close to the bottom of the strut tower and would need to add a spacer to push the wheel out from under it if I go any larger OD of tire. Adding spacers as we all know causes the tires to hit the pinch seam area so I am trying to do a calculation to see if perhaps .5" spacers would work and still have enough thread engagement on the OEM studs. That being said I would guess with 8" wide wheels you would be extremely close to the strut assembly even with 1" spacers meaning that anything less is out of the question. Photos of the bottom of the strut+wheel would be great Also I want to mention that I love the look of the wheels you guys got 10/10!
I have tested a 9.5 wide ET38 and 1"spacer and i had my thumb length left in between Sent from my SM-G900P using ToasterJeep mobile app
So far not a huge difference... went down .3 mpg from the readout... I did however add another roof attachment beside my basket so can't really say if it was one or the other or both combined.
