I just had my '15 Renegade to the dealer to upgrade the software, mainly for the traction control fix. They also upgraded a couple of other things. On the way home, I notice that I am now getting a DRL light out message on the dash. Never had it before the upgrade. Weird thing is if I turn on the left turn signal, the message/warning goes away. Right turn signal has no effect - message still there. My DRL's are LED, but never got a message before this. The turn signal thing has me baffled. Any suggestions?? I was thinking of disconnecting/reconnecting the battery to see if that does anything. I already called the dealer for another appointment tomorrow. Upgrades were: PCM 68241101AH to AJ TCM 68297864AC to AD BCM 0520LEU401-04-28492744-0811 to 04-28541372-091C ABS EPB17614B7C-44-KJEA17JT-02-7303 to KJEA17JY-02-9602 (This was the traction control fix) My guess is that it has something to do with the BCM flash
Looks like the problem is the LED DRL. I removed the left side DRL and put the OEM bulb back in and the error message went away. The right side DRL seems to be OK. I put both OEM's back in for now.
I can seem to get a led to last in the drl. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using ToasterJeep mobile app
This one last several months with no error message, and only started getting the message right after the software updates.
I wasn't getting an error message, they just burn out. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using ToasterJeep mobile app
