Hey, Yucca Valley next door to Joshua Tree National Park. Sent from my iPad using ToasterJeep mobile app
How are the trails out there, I've only been to 29palms to visit a family member at base Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
That works too, wouldn't be the first time I get it stuck lmao. First time that happened was at Cleghorn. It looked like a small puddle turned out to be bout 3' deep. Good thing for the winches Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
Many trails around. N202 runs between Pioneertown and Big Bear and is a favorite, several trails out by the dry lakebed in Joshua Tree (BLM land mostly, massive solar farm on it now, Sunfair Rd/ Broadway will get you out to it, Geology Tour Rd in JT Park, good hiking out there too, old mines, 18 miles, 4x4 or at least good clearance recommended after first 3 miles. I'm not the best with all the trail names but there are a lot of cool, quirky areas that don't necessarily need 4x4, Giant Rock that is a couple miles in the dirt from The Integratron (built by an eccentric engineer with plans given by aliens, offers sound baths on weekends, pretty cool to do at least once), Pappy n Harriet's in Pioneertown for awesome food and cold beverages, old town behind it where some westerns were filmed, do a wild West show in summer, Johnson Valley OHV, King of the Hammers will be here in Feb, killer tricked out race trucks, thousands turn out for it, some trails that Renegades can get on out there to explore. Pretty easy to find all kinds of little areas out here to spend a day wheeling. Sent from my HTC6525LVW using ToasterJeep mobile app
Greetings from Torrance, CA! I have been to Joshua Tree, Anza Borrego, Alabama Hills, Big Bear, and Monache Meadows. The most technical trail (for the Renegade at least) has to be Miller Jeep Pass in Monache. Feel free to give a wave if you see me!
Oh nice, you're just down the road from me! I've only done Cleghorn and Hungry Valley, but both are awesome for a Renegade. Cleghorn has some really technical stuff, but you can go around anything you're not comfortable with. I think there were only 2 obstacles I couldn't handle. One of them was more of an alternate trail near the end. Not too bummed about that one though, even my friend's Wrangler had major issues with it. Took well over an hour to get through what was probably less than half a mile. But that's including the time it took to jack it up to put a spring back on that popped out. It popped out again farther down that section, but he just left it off since the second time he was almost through it and put it back on at the bottom.
Oh I forgot to mention Hungry Valley oh! and Frazier Park. I have done Cleghorn in my wrangler but props to you for doing it in your Renegade, as I was driving it I felt like it would be to hairy for me!
Yeah I just made it out in the last obstacle lmao. I don't even know how I did it but that's the last time I take it through that same place Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
